SO5 Pro up and running

Finally got the time to complete the assembly over the holidays. Things went well until initial setup step in which the Y2 limit switch didn’t work. It indicated actuated in CM but no red light. Did some troubleshooting and swapped it out with the shipped spare. All good. Finished setup initialization with no more issues. Downloaded the 4X4 flattening file from CutRocket, disabled the second tool-path and ran the first pass with my Z axis 1” above the bed. All looked good so installed the cutter, removed and disabled the Bitsetter. Zeroed out the machine per instructions and hit start. Quick 2 minute run around the perimeter and all is well. Reenabled the 2nd tool-path and hit start. ~43 mins later run was complete. I needed a second pass at @ 0.02” and all flat. I did change the original tool-path to only count the first pass @ 0.01” just to see how flat the bed was and me to learn the machine more. Very happy with the ease of assembly and getting the first cuts made.

Sent email to CS to see about getting another limit switch for a spare.

Oh, did I mention how quite the spindle (65mm) is??
