Speed & Feed Shapeoko 5 Pro

Hi group,

I now have the Carbide 3D VFD Spindle installed on my 5 Pro. Can I use the HDM Feed and Speed of the CC Database?

I have found that all of the default speeds and speeds are very conservative for all of the machines. Especially if you have a spindle on the S4/S4Pro/S5Pro. I agree with Will that The HDM feeds/speeds are a good starting point with a 1/2 or 3/4 of the depth of cut. I still run heavier than that by a good amount on my S5Pro, but I also have a lot of experience with Shapeoko machines. But that is what default feeds/speeds are for.
