About an hour into my cut today my spindle stopped just above its cut and there was a hard limit alarm warning in CC. The machine was far away from any switches when this happened. After re-homing and probing the tool the alarm will trigger again when CC tries to start the spindle, thus loosing contact with the cutter again. I even shut my VFD down then back on in manual, I was able to ramp my RPMs up manually so I tried to run the file that way. But after going through the initialization process and probing the tool I got the same alarm when the file was trying to start. I also rest CC with no luck? Any reason my spindle/VFD would be giving me an Alarm 1?
Anyone have any ideas?
You might take a look at this thread in the forum, it may give you some clues. Other than that, I would ask support if they have any ideas.
