Quick backstory, I installed a 2.2kw spindle that has been working amazingly for the past couple months. I received a diode laser this week and installed it accordingly.
Now, I cut several things with the spindle this weekend so it was working fine, the only thing that changed was installing the laser which also worked amazingly.
I woke up this morning to cut a sign for a customer and the “spindle on” button would not turn the spindle on. Unhooked the laser from the pwm slot and the spindle still wouldnt speed up. Only time it would was when I would turn motion / cncjs on or off the spindle would spin for a short 2-3 seconds and turn off. So there was a little communication there.
I honestly have no idea, I have the spindle hooked up to the 3 and 6 slots on the board and the laser was hooked up to the pwm/gnd slots above it. Im thinking something happened there, can you have both hooked up at the same time?
