Hello, does anyone know a solution to a problem i am having with my shapeoko 5 cnc.
I can’t get the vfd spindle to work, it has lights and the power is all ok but getting nothing from it, a short while ago we had a fuse trip in one of the rcd’s on the main fuse board which knocked out a few machines, they all work now and the cnc moves and lights up e.t.c. but nothing from the spindle.
Anybody have any ideas please?

Thankyou, will do, thankyou for your info.
Have you tried depressing the button on the front of the machine that keeps the spindle from spinning when you’re doing engravings with the McEtcher? I think my VFD defaults to it being un pressed so as to not start spinning straight out of the box.

Thankyou for your advice, it tuned out to be one of the fuses in the electric supply in the end.
Your suggestion is a good one though that i will keep in mind for the future if no movement from the router
