Spindle wiring run

Hi, I am finishing the set-up on my Pro 5 and I am concerned that maybe I shouldn’t have wired my spindle the way I did. I ran the spindle wires in the right hand cable chain along with the other wires and didn’t use the left hand side cable chain or the second cable chain behind the spindle. I did this because all of my controls will be on the right hand side. Just nervous as this is all new to me.
Thanks!
Andy

What you need to check is make sure the cable can accommodate the full length movement all the way at its furthest travel from the point of entry to both chains. Also make sure there are no pinch points at any travel on the gantry or the Y axis movement. If everything has good movement and does not pull on the cable at any point, then you should be good to go. I was looking at my machine (S5Pro) awhile back and came to the same conclusion when I had had the chain on the left Y rail fall down onto the table and break the holding bracket at the transition from the rail to the gantry.

This would also mean that I could move the location of my spindle control where I actually wanted it in the first place. Now if I want to add an air line or cooler lines I would be possibly able to do this but it would be a tight squeeze on everything inside the chain, but a move I am willing to work with.

Thank you for the confirmation. I have full movement so I will go with it for now. I appreciate your response!
