I should know this but don’t remember how it was.
Should there be movement of the spindle in the X-axis. This is when changing cutters. I am getting uneven cuts when cutting a radius.

If the machine is turned on, there shouldn’t be any significant movement along X. Since you mention you get uneven cuts, it’s worth checking the machine mechanically, especially the set screws on the X motor pulley: both screws should be present and tight, and most importantly one of the two shall be aligned to the flat on the motor shaft
The drive pulley had rotated on the shaft.
