How do I get a longer cord to my laptop? With all the wiring coming out of the back of the machine I have to place my laptop on the opposite side from my spot for drawing, siphoring, and gosentas. It is really cramping my style.
I just ordered a longer USB (printer) cable on Amazon and it has worked fine for over a year now.
During a recent Support issue (disconnects), it was suggested that the non-C3D cable might be the issue. It was actually just slightly loose at the board.

I have an SO3 XXL. My machine had a loose USB connection and I used a sticky wire tie holder to secure the USB cable about 2" back from the connection point on the controller. That kept the cord from dangling down and causing connection issues.

I have 2 of those that came with the machine. I wondered what they were for.
I am fairly new Shapoeko user but I use a usb extention from Staples, I havent had any connection issues at all.
Could you mount the laptop above your work area? On a swinging arm/stand?

It sounded like the reason you needed the longer cord was to get to the opposite side.
