New to CNC (X-Carve Pro). I am not sure I want to stick with the Easel so I thought I would try Carbide Create. The problem I’m having is with my depth of cut settings. When I simulate the tool paths it clearly shows that my cut is too deep. I am testing on .5" material and as near as I can see my MaxDepthofCut is .1 Any clues as to how to solve this would be greatly appreciated…Thx
Hi Greg,
Can you upload your .c2d file for a look ?
Sure…Thx

You have max depth of cut set to 0.76 in those toolpaths
(or maybe it’s a refresh issue you were having ? can you try closing CC and reopening your c2d file ?)
Thank you, that was the problem! I am curious though now that you have pointed this out. It seems the Group size has grown as I have been poking around with a copy of the original file. Wondering why this happens?
Here is what the Group from the original file looks like.

This was a big help!
Thank you,

Sometimes it is better to delete all and start over. They are usually in chronological order. You can edit them to see which ones you want and delete the rest.
