SuckIt and HDZ proximity Sensor

Hey, I just installed the HDZ proximity switches and I see no way of attaching the dust boot. I see a few posts on the subject but
nothing really explains how to do it. I do have the dust boot
for the HDZ, so are those the ears the posts talk about?
There are just 2 screw holes to attach it to and the screws aren’t
long enough. But even if they were, the sensor would be behind
the dust boot.

Hi Adam,

It depends on what revision of HDZ and Suckit dust shoe you have. Since Suckit dust shoes are third party / not supported by Carbide3D, you would have to check with their support to see if they can provide you with the necessary piece of kit to attach it.

Pictures would sure help us understand what your problem is and maybe a solution.

I have a much older HDZ, it’s Blue and the SuckIt dust boot and Inductive Sensors and it works great.

Thanks,

Jeffery

Just took a couple pictures myself.

I hope this helps,

Jeffery

Yes thank you. Was simple enough.
