I would like to see more toolpath information displayed while the machine is working. It would updated as each new toolpath is started. The image here is a mockup of CM while busy. This would be helpful to me so I could evaluate job progress and decide what toolpath changes could be made.

All of that info would have to be embedded within the G-code by the toolpath generator - CM is just streaming the G-code commands to the Shapeoko.
So, Carbide 3D could potentially do it with CC. But if an operator uses other 3rd-party software you would get nothing.
Since CM can now read the c2d file directly, all of that info is available in the file. You are right about those using 3rd party tools so for them perhaps the entire toolpath info group box could be made not visible.
