So here’s a challenge for someone who has some 3D printing capabilities. I’d certainly be willing to invest in it, if it’s possible.
The idea is to make a new Sweepy Pro boot that has two features:
- An inner diameter wide enough to allow the 80mm spindle to pass through it. Right now, the clear plastic support ring is big enough, but the inner diameter of the ring on the boot that holds the bristles is too small a diameter and makes contact with the spindle as it deep-plunges
- A mechanism to allow the boot to be removed / slid out, without having to fully remove the thumb screws (or a more powerful magnetic solution).
I would settle for item 1, if only one thing could be done…but it would be great to have both.
