Sweepy to 4” hose

Have a Harbor Freight 2HP that will be dedicated to just my new Pro5 when it arrives that I have piped to above the machine. I have heard that there is not enough room to hook a 4” hose directly to the included Sweepy with an adapter.

Two part question-
Has anyone found a suitable dust boot that can directly support a 4” hose that will work with the Shapeoko spindle?

Also, I saw the below in an earlier post, but did not see if anyone had success with it.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I lose SO much flow when I reduce down to 2.5” so would like a better solution.

I have an SO3 with HDZ. I call my setup the diving board. I have a Jet DC1300 with a 4" hose. I leave the 4" hose permanently on my Shapeoko and attach another 4" hose that is connected to the DC. This way I can move that hose around to other tools.

I made the bracket to attach to my HDZ to hold a 2.5" tube and a 2.5" flexible hose to connect to the 2.5" to 4" connector up top.

Here is a picture of my setup.

I do not have the sweepy but that setup would work fine. I will attach t he bracket I made to work on my HDZ 3.2 version. You can measure your SO5 and HDZ to see if anything has changed. You can modify my design to fit your SO5.
