Any news on a updated Sweepy for use with the VFD spindle?
doesn’t this one fit the 80mm VFD spindle?
The VFD Spindle is arguably the 65mm unit:
My bad! I assumed it was the same as the HDM spindle.
But the sweepy 2.0 also comes in 65mm & 69mm. Does it not fit the VFD upgrade?
It fits, but the placement doesn’t suit some folks — at least one person 3D printed an extension to allow placing it lower.
The sweepy 2.0 fits the VFD fine but the bottom section cant go low enough to capture chips very well. Rob posted back in May about having a new bottom section in the works. I was just wondering if that ever happened.
