100 years ago the greatest collie dog writer of all time lived and worked on Pompton Lake in Wayne New Jersey. Cypress just off the CNC. No sanding or finish. I will brush it with nylon and use some Zinzer amber. My design start to finish.

Cypress is stringy. After I hogged it I ran a brand new 1mm TBN @ 20% stepover.
I love it! He was and is my favorite author. When I was a kid (85 now) I had a lot of his collie books and reread them countless times.
I have owned collies since I was 18. 73 now. There’s a Facebook page called Celebrating Sunnybank and Albert Payson Terhune where geeks like me belong. I have many of his books and even designed a coloring book for the Collie Health Foundation. Great stuff. Nice to know you!

Thank you. I use a variety of software and it is a process. I first make a line drawing on my tablet monitor or trace the image. This removes distractions. Then I run it through some ai for depth and finish…polish and smooth it in Vectric Aspire. I also use Alibre Relief Maker Pro… And I honestly don’t remember if I used that on this one. I owned Aspire before I owned a Shapeoko so i never learned Carbide Create. But I do love my machine.
