This is a small project I played with

Some 6061 Aluminum. Made this for my brother for his Jeep. ( Just Empty Every Pocket )

Nice little job, .125 bit, three hours

Looks good.
What is the material thickness?
Did you start off with rectangular stock and cut it out?

Care to share the file!

Nice! It looks remarkably similar to a logo I did for my son’s business…

A lot of schools have the Bull Dog as their mascot. Garrison Texas has the Bull Dog painted on their water tower. Garrison’s moto is “Biggest Little Town in East Texas”

The material ended up being .190. I was on a tight schedule to get it done, so I ended up ordering from McMaster. $$$$ Saved me 150 in fuel cost that I spent on material. I am not close to anything anymore.

A little bit of creative design work from the customer’s original, and we have this.
Now, there has been an additional request to have the recessed areas anodized. People don’t have a clue.

Play with the feeds and speeds for your cuts. I ended up speeding my cut up a lot. Then did a final pass with a .040 step over with .002 additional depth to get rid of stalagmites and make it look kind of like a uniform cut.
