Tiling G-Code Jumping off of workpiece

I have a tiling project that can’t seem to stay on the tile. The toolpath looks good, but when I simulate it, it jumps down below the tile and then crashes the machine. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this until I had wasted MANY hours thinking it was something with my holddowns or zeroing. What’s to do?

Are you using a current version?

Try the new beta?

Upload the file here or send it in to support@carbide3d.com

I am running Beta 843 and have tried to rerun the design a few times. I honestly am perplexed

Upload your files so you can get more eyes on it.

Please see attached. I am able to get it from jumping when I manually tile the toolpath

Definitely seems to be a bug — will make a note of it and hopefully it can be looked into in a future version.

For now, as noted, it does show in the 3D toolpath preview, so if one edits things using Trim Vectors:

then it is possible to get things down to a selection of geometry which works:

Didn’t edit the bottom:

Thank you for the insight. I’ll see if I can replicate that so I can kill any future issue.

It’s definitely a point that gets machined in Tile 1…
No clue as to why it might be getting picked up in Tile 2 ??
