Is there a Carbide 3D video on tiling with a standard machine?
I have done a tiling job once. I used pins in the stock for positioning. That did a real good job.
In my humble opinion.
There is a short video: https://youtu.be/y2o4CReNaDU?si=3PtsIWg4MC3bG5ay
I screwed a board to the spoilboard and ran the bit along it in Y to get it parallel.
I marked the center of my piece and made a mark on the fence where the edge of the first tile started. When the first was done I slid the piece down until the center mark on the material lined up with the mark on the fence.
It worked great and I didn’t use pins. I have used this method 3 or 4 times now. The trick is making sure your work is held down securely if you use that fence. I added some clamps on the fence.
Thank you. The video was very helpful.
