I am creating an Eagles plaque for a possible customer, when I show the Simulation there is a small mound showing up.
But not on Design, that I can tell.
What can I do to get rid of this when I run the job?

Right under the e the design is showing the dark blue where your ends mill will not fit and the v bit will attempt to flatten that area…
If you cut the project and the hump is there just chisel it off.
Inset by the width of the Advanced V carving angle:
Then isolate the area in question using Trim Vectors:
OK
OK
Then use that geometry to draw in a contour down the center:
and assign a No Offset Contour toolpath to the desired depth (using a tool other than #102 DEFAULT)
This was my original thought. I was of the mind this can be avoided. If so, future cuts will not have this on it.
As I started reading Will’s post, I saw where this was heading. I think that would have worked. However, with both your inputs, I had an epiphany. What would happen if I just raised the word PHILADELPHIA away from EAGLES to allow more room for the Bits.
I do believe it worked.
I tried a little bit of everything I could think of to fix this on my own before posting.
Thank you both for your assistance in this dilemma.
