Tool change prompt issues

Hello,
I have a minor issue that I have Googled to death, but not been able to fix and was hoping someone here would understand my explanation and help me lol

I am new to CNC (like 4 hours exp. new) and have started growing my scrap bin at new speeds.

I designed a logo in CC a imagine that is pocketed out with a raised number extruding in the middle all of which I assume to be pretty basic stuff. The issue I am running in to is when I need to change bits. The machine doesn’t prompt me to change tool, just raises up about 2" and stays there. None of the available options worked to raise the spindle enough to change the bit.

I did find an old thread here that suggested I change the Post processing, to I switched it from basic G-code to GRBL and was hoping I had it as next to it it says for tool change prompt or something like that, either way no dice, same results.

I have a Pro XXL.

I am sure I will have other questions as I go on and will try to keep them in this post if they have any sort of relevance. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide, Mike

the most common cause is not setting the right postprocessor in Carbide Create.

Also do you have a bitsetter?

I only have 4 options, I’ve tried the only 2 it could be. Yes I have a bit setter
