Trade Black Walnut for CNC Tutoring?

Any Charlotte, NC users here?

Barring any hurricane flooding aftermath delays - I should be picking up a used SO Pro tomorrow.

I have a sawmill and solar kiln that I use as a hobby. I have black walnut (or cherry, poplar, oak, etc) that I’m willing to trade for some hands-on CNC tutoring if anyone in the Charlotte area is interested.

If I was better at this stuff and lived less than 650 miles away, I would take you up on that.

What project would you like to start with that you are having difficulty with?

Not having difficulty yet. I’ve read people’s comments on how they wished they would have better prepared themselves while waiting on the unit to arrive. So I’m trying to follow that advice. I just purchased the Pro this past weekend and need to setup a workbench.

When i showed up with the truck, I assumed I would disassemble to CNC in 15-20 minutes, put it in the back seat of the truck, muscle the large workbench into the truck bed and take off.

Well…for those of you who are shaking your head at this newbie, you’re right. The guy shared that it took him 4 hours to put it together. So…the CNC went in the bed and I drove 3.5 hours back home without a workbench.
