Tramming needed or am I being too OCD?

So, I just (finally) surfaced my 4x2 pro 5 table. It NEEDED it! But, I discovered the spindle is slightly out of square…1/400" in 1/2" along the x axis (y axis seems almost perfect). That being said…would you try to square/tram the spindle? I’m mostly doing HDU, sometimes wood. I know it’s a pretty general question, but curious what my fellow CNCers would do if they were in my shoes.

Thoughts?

1/400th = 0.0025”, do your projects show unevenness that needs to be sanded out? If no I would not worry about it. I have not trimmed my spindle, simply because I see no evidence that it needs it. I’m not matching tight tolerance metals either however.

Keep in mind that 0.0025" on 1" bit is next to nothing on a 0.25" but.
