Just a fun share. I was cleaning up today, ran across my bucket-o-junk-carbide-tools. This is about 2 years of tools. It’s interesting that there are only a couple that are actually dull. A handful are chipped (most take a magnifier to see the problem). And a whole pile of just plain broken tools. Also interesting how few 1/4" tools are in the piles - exactly one.

Please recycle them — Carbide Processors pays by the pound — or use them for something else — I make hinge pins and scribes and so forth out of them.

Not enough to be worth the hassle today. They stay in their “trashed tool bucket” and just keep accumulating until I find a better place for them (or a recycler). Nobody around here takes them.
