Remember folks. If the part is longer than your machine you can always use creative fixturing and some math.
Part is 49" long so I had to get creative. I made a fixture (bottom left) that has a right triangle (with a circle at the tip) slanted at 45° to allign the blank. I made 0, 0 be at the center of the circle.
In my main design file I tilted the hole thing 45° and put the bottom right corner on 0, 0. Next I shifted it 10mm up and 10mm to the left. This gave me a little under 15mm on either side to grip with my clamps.
Without moving 0, 0 on the machine from machining the fixture I loaded up my blank and sent it.
