Trouble shooting 5 pro

So I’m waiting on my new control board for my 5 pro 2x2 that I just got a week ago and i can’t get to run and even set up wizard had issues with many re tries and got it set only for it to go haywire even after i did get it set up, the laptop is more than capable to run the machine . The questions I have until the new board comes in is .

  1. what will the reset button thats on the control box do and would it possibly clear out the demons if that’s possible to try again a sample run
  2. is there any other steps I could go through.
The problems started with the machine jumping off the cutting area so I checked all areas to make sure the screws were tight that can cause the issue then test ran a 3 d program it worked but the next day machine went haywire cutting wrong and even wouldn’t go to the bitsetter correctly . To let you know this is my second machine I have a 4 xxl so this isnt my first rodeo. Thanks

My approach for this sort of thing is to just unplug everything, wait a bit, then plug things back in and re-run the Machine Setup Wizard:

If that doesn’t get things working again as expected, please check in w/ the folks at support (and let them know what you have done in the way of troubleshooting).

Would pressing reset possibly help

For that I would check w/ the folks at support for when/why that button should be pressed.
