So, I was attempting to cut an Air Force Logo, which I pulled down from Carbide Create, and I got a horrible cutout. I then checked and found lots of pink lines, which I believe do not have paths. Should I connect them or assign paths to the area? I am still a newbie to the machine and software.
Those pink lines are open vectors, which means you can’t pocket them. They are only good if you use a contour toolpath (w/ no offset) and an engraver or V-bit to trace those lines at a very shallow depth.
You can try to close them, but I doubt the results will end up being usable without a lot of tedious cleanup. I would just trace them with an engraver.
