Unexpectedly helpful USB cable unplug!

I was cutting another photo frame today, it has two 74mm squares with 60 degree chamfers, cut to 11m using pocket enabled advance v-carve. After the v-bit had just got to depth on the first pocket (the left one) the USB cable detached from my computer stopping the cut. Previous cuts of this have shown me that the bit then travels around the corners “tidying” them up.

As I thought the cut looked ok as it was I disable the file and went on to cut the second pocket. As before this “fannied around” in the corners for about 5 minutes before leaving a less clean cut than the interrupted cut!

The corners of the second cut have slightly eaten outside of the cut, this has happened before and I have manually cleaned them. Any of you gurus can help me with what I am doing wrong? I thought it was just a straight forward chamfer.
