Ungrouping vectors on text

Hello,

It has been a while since I used any text at all. I am making bandit sign stencils and need to ungroup the text in order to put tabs. Can anyone walk me through how to do that?

You will want to “Convert to Curves”. Once you do so, you won’t be able to change the text or font, it’s now ‘locked in’.

It’s one of the operations when editing or creating text. It’s a button near the bottom of the “Create Text” pane.
