Any one having issue with cnc with carbide motion connected via usb type c? When I use USB type C the machine doesn’t move. The cnc appears to jammed while trying to move. But when I plug a usb 2.0 or 3,0 the machine works fine!
What adapter/cable are you using? The official Apple adapter is known to work, as is an Insignia brand USB-C–A adapter.
What sort of USB-C port are you connecting to?
When you use “regular USB” where are you connecting?
Also, many times USB-C ports on tablets are either for charging only or display only. The RCA and Fusion 5 tablets I have only communicate over the large USB port.
Hi thank you for your reply, im using a surface pro 9 2 x USB-C4 with Thunderbolt 4
And the cable is UGREEN Printer Cable USB C to USB B 2.0
What is the “regular USB” which works?
Please write in to support@carbide3d.com and let them know.
