Using the crap out of the Node Edit

I am creating a box for the Senet board I posted at an earlier date. The box started as being 6" tall.
Will made the suggestion to do an actual test cut, out of real material.
I did not want to waste wood, so I got 2 sheets of foam board insulation. These are 24"X24".
Cut the first one yesterday and found a mistake during assembly. I bet you are surprised, right?

Fingers for the joints were not as wide as they were deep not allowing for the miter to come together.

As I had the parts somewhat together I saw the box was going to end up way too tall (6") more than needed to hold the parts.
I have reduced the height and save on material.

Hopefully no issues this round.

Ran the Foam Board test today.
Broke one of the long sides pulling it off of the waste board. :persevere:
Used all my Super glue as a hold down with painters tape. Trying Wood Glue to put it back together.
Miter corners (outside) fitting nice, inside corners a little gappy?

The glue worked and the foam board test-run is complete.
I assembled the foam board and placed the top of the box in place.
