V7 Carbide Create Crash

I’ve read the other post about V7 crashes. I haven’t seen a solution. I could have missed it. I just recently installed V7 and as some of the other people have said it runs for a while then crashes. It will not let me do anything but save and exit. It does save the file. My drivers are up to date.

Here’s what’s happening with the memory while the program is running.

This is exactly the same problem I experienced. At first, I put “Windows 8” compatibility and it was ok. But it is not anymore. I hope CC will find a solution to hat memory leak.

As I recall, the issue is related to the GPU of the computer/video card and updating the video drivers fixes the issue.

Windows tells me that the drivers are up to date.

Check with the manufacturer of the video card to see if there is an updated driver which MS has not yet released.

I’m running Windows 11
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11390H @ 3.40GHz 2.92 GHz
Graphics: Intel Iris Xe Graphics

This is the latest graphics driver I found. Dated 12/28/2022 and it does not mention the 11th Gen Intel

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I searched for the i7-11390H and found this → https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/217182/intel-core-i711390h-processor-12m-cache-up-to-5-00-ghz-with-ipu/downloads.html Looks like they list windows drivers dated 7/19/23 & a BETA windows driver dated 7/24/23

Well, it’s doing it again. I loaded the updated driver about 3 weeks ago and everything was working great. Now it’s started using up all the memory and crashing again. Anyone else experiencing this or have some ideas on how to fix it.

Check and see if your system updated itself with a new (now buggy) driver?

Revert to a System Restore Point made when things were working?

Thanks. That seems to have fixed it for now.
