Vcarve inlay bit question

Would it be better to use one of those Spiral Tapered Ball Nose Spiral Router Bits:

or is it better to use those VCarve bits:

or even one of those:

(and why…)

I used the 2nd ones with the two straight edges, went well with end grain boards, but the plug for side grain cuts (alongside the grain) broke off some pieces since the wood likes to break alongside the grains. With several cutting edges would that be possibly better?

I ask because I have excellent experience with a spiral bowl cutter,

(of course I take off the scarf for CNC work)
cuts really cute chips, and the surface is smoother than a baby butt.

And in CC the tip degree value can be entered freely, therefore this does not matter.

The tool needs to have a pointy tip, so that the entered angle matches what Carbide Create expects — the tapered ball-nose tools are not supported (some folks here have gotten them to work by determining what angle a tool of that cutting flute length would be w/o the ball tip).

Upload photos showing the cutting problems you had?

Since I filled the gaps with wood filler (sanding dust+superglue) and the boards are already with customers there is just one image of a finished board

but I understand what you mean, the CC expects a zero tip.

So I will continue using end grain stock, cicworkshop sells excellent stock. They are just really heavy with 1.6" thickness for kitchen usage, even I hesitate to really use them in the kitchen, hence my attempt using not that thick stock.
