Vdf spindle, cant set up

Shapeoko 5 Pro VDF Spindle settings wont show in menu box.

i initialized my machine but never had a chance to set up the spindle and enter the code. now i go to settings and i can’t find the spindle settings to set up the spindle.

spindle is plugged in, on, and has 0.0 displayed

The VFD spindle should be configured in the Setup Wizard:

Then it should “just work” when used with a CAM tool with an appropriate post-processor.

got it! i had to enable MDI in the settings… duh.

and this, it “just works” stuff is killing me haha i’m expecting to have to do more setup
