I would find it helpful if the spindle warmup function could be available before initializing the machine. That would allow the operator to warm up the spindle while it is in the back right corner and leave plenty of clearance to place and secure the stock during those pesky seconds it takes to warm up the spindle.
I realize it is not overly burdensome to just move the gantry after initialization, but it would be a feature I would like.
For the sake of consistency, we believe that the machine should be treated as effectively “non-functional” prior to initialization. (Mirroring how a larger machine like a Haas works)
We have a bunch of Motion changes in the queue right now, so maybe uninitialized behavior is something we’ll revisit as we work through that list.
