Started up my machine and vfd but vfd does not show digital readout. Its a black screen. It shows red power on light but no digital rpm screen what to do?
Check the power cord where it plugs into the side of the VFD. I have loosened my connection at that point in the past when flipping the switch to turn the VFD off.

As I stated the power light comes on but rpm LEDs do not light up
If you are using the C3D spindle kit and the power light you are referring to is the round red ring around the lockout button, that is only illuminated when the Shapeoko PCB board is powered on and connected. The only indication that the VFD has power supplied to it are the LEDs in the display.
