The biggest thing for pro outside of understanding toolpaths and feeds and speeds would really be learning to make and convert things to STL models. Slicing STL models with Meshmixer or equivalent software and then maybe Zbrush if you want to make fancy motifs and stuff or learn to combine multiple models into one.
