Ok so not sure what happened. I was working on a trey last night had the white side bowl and trey bit 1372 in and was carving out the pockets at a pretty conservative rate. Something happened and it got off path and destroyed the piece. Now my x-axes is froze and just makes a grinding noise. It will move if I help it and the grinding goes away but if I stop so does it. Any ideas??
Is this a Pro or an HDM or a 5 Pro?
If so, check the linear rails/blocks and lubricate:
https://my.carbide3d.com/docs/maintenance/
If it is an SO3/4 check the Delrin V wheels.
If it is a SO3/4/Pro, remove the belt, inspect it and reinstall flipped end-for-end, and also check the idler wheels, and verify that the pulley is in good condition and secure on the motor shaft.
Check in at support@carbide3d.com and we will do our best to assist.
It’s a 5 pro 4x4. I will do that thanks
Well I feel like an idiot lol. Lubed up the rails and it is brand new. I need a that’s easy button
