X axis Roller fell off

While facing a waste board my Lower right roller fell off!
If i really tighten it, the x axis will not move so it is loose.
Has this happened to anyone else ?

It needs to be snug to the frame to keep from getting slop and bad/inaccurate cuts. And the screws on the v wheels tight so it doesnt rotate /fall off.

if i tighten them the x axis will not move

To adjust them please see: https://docs.carbide3d.com/support/tensioning-eccentrics/

https://wiki.shapeoko.com/index.php/Makerslide#Tightening_V-wheels may help as well.

these are helpful but it seems like the screws are lose, should i loctite the screws to the eccentric nut

Hold the bolt and tension the screw.

If you wish to, you can use threadlock to secure the nut on the bolt once adjusted.

LOL. Yes, but it was the bottom left on my XXL. I was in the middle of cutting my fence setup.

I won’t go into the LOL, so to make a long story short…make sure the cams and screws are tight but those rollers really just need to ‘kiss’ the rails enough so that there is no play. I had fun adjusting\tightening the ones on the plate that the router mounts to!!!
