XXL Pro - Bitsetter stopped working Mid-Production

All, I get Probe errors now trying to change bits and now initializing, When I disable BitSetter the machine “works” but all my jobs have 2-4 bits and I am once again dead in the water. If I connect without initilize and look at machine info its says PROBE active, My BitZero is disconnected and not grounded now, same issue. No red light in the BitSetter either, So I need some thoughts on a fix. I need parts to get out tomorrow, being behind from the Xmas time off.

Can I order a new one somewhere to swap???

Let us know about this at support@carbide3d.com and we’ll do our best to get this sorted out w/ you.

@WillAdams I left a message already, hopefully someone can call soon.

I replaced the Bit Setter with a Spare one I had with a broken wire when I got the Pro, didnt change anything. But I noticed that the plug connection for my bitrunner on the board seemed loose, if I unplug the BitRunner it all works as expected now, not sure how that connection can go bad since my Pro is in an enclosure and the plug is way out of the way?

Check that the grounding clip/magnet is not touching ground. People have that problem in the past.

It seems to be related to the bitrunner? It seems the connection on the board is bad and makes the CNC not like the bitsetter. Hopefully Carbide can help fix it, since i loge the bitrunner

Once again, Carbide is an awesome company to support all our needs, it is one of the biggest reasons we ordered the new HDM. They were able to track down the issue and sent parts ASAP to get us back up and running. Now to just wait for the delays with FedEx. THANK YOU Carbide for the awesome support
