Z axis inductive switch broke after first run

I have just received my brand new Nomad 3.
Set up and ran through the first tutorial and made the tool tray. A couple of days later i started on the next tutorial, the head.
Turned on the machine, connected and clicked “initialize machine”, and then the z axis stared to make a horrible noize and the door popped open. It seems like the z end stop switch is does not work. I have tested it with some metal and the red light does not come on (like it does on the other end stops) and i have opened up the machine and checked that the cable from the switch to the mainboard is ok. Pretty disappointed that this happens after the first run…
And that no one answers my mail or calls at support…

Anyone else who had this issue?

This is a new issue to me, but we’ll get it taken care of.

Your ticket has been assigned to someone, but the Nomad folks are mostly in California, so work on Pacific time, so it may take a while, but we will respond as quickly as we can.

Probably sending in photos showing how the Z-axis homing switch is mounted and wired up and connected to the controller will help get things started.
