When I try to initialize the machine, the router goes up all the way and just makes a rumbling noise. What should I do? I’d say about 1 in 40 times it gets past this and works, if I shut the machine down after it actually works, same thing happens again next time I go to use it. I have the z axis homing switch all the way to the top and I can see the router actually hitting it and moving it up a slight amount
Sounds like an intermittent with the Z sensor. If you have a spare, swap that in.
Otherwise, check the wiring, especially at the connectors, and where the wiring connects to the controller board.
New machine just assembled? Or machine which was working which has developed a problem?
