Has anyone ever had the Z axis get hung up moving left to right on the gantry . I had the work piece get hung up with the bit causing chaos , I shut the machine as fast as I could but now I’m having issues with the Z moving left and right . Checked the gear on the motor for tightness and the belt for any damage and dirt . Everything seems good just won’t work properly
Do you have an SO3, 4, or Pro?
If you have a Pro are the linear blocks and rails lubricated?

and see the video
For an SO3 or 4 check the eccentric nuts and the Delrin V wheels.
For all of the machines check the pulley and pulley set screws and put a witness mark across the end of the pulley/motor shaft and check it after a problem to see if it shifted.
Thanks William that was it , it looked clean I didn’t think much of the rails . It was just weird I had a mixup with the project I was cutting the. That happened. I thought I broke something for sure . Thanks again for the help
