Z-Carriage is Squeaking at me

V-Wheels are clean… don’t want to introduce lube back there unless absolutely necessary. Can’t pinpoint the source… thoughts?

How tight are those v wheels set? When I had the stock Z, even with the wheels tight enough to remove slop, the Z was loose enough to be pulled back up by spring tension. You may want to address your v wheel adjustment.

It moves up with spring tension, but only from full negative Z, stops around 50% of the way back to the top. Never been an issue on cuts thus far.

Dont add any lube. A lubricant is not required and will only gum up the works. I dont know how hard it is to remove the suckit add on but I would remove them to isolate the sound. It sounds like a plastic part scraping to me so start with the suckit parts and progress from there.

I know the backside of the vertical adjustment knobs on the arms of my suck-it setup are dangerously close to rubbing on the z carriage as it travels up and down. Maybe give that a look? From the video it seems to stop just after your z carriage clears the backside of that part of the suck-it.
