This scares me. After a bit tool change and bitsetter, when the spindle starts traveling to the work hold at a Z height, that almost gives me a heart attack. It feels like it will collide with the material or a clamp(s). Is the Z height when traveling to start the job predetermined through probing and bit setting sequence? Can Z height be changed?
In my limited time using my 5 pro, I try to make sure all clamps are below stock, I also set my retract height higher if needed. The only consequence to this is increased cut time. I’m not using this for production so for me that’s ok.
