Zero machine and it tries to go to a different location

Hi - I am having a bit of trouble on starting a project - I zero out the machine and then it decides to going into a clicking routine (trying to go to a different location but physically can’t) and everything is off in terms of coordinates in the project after that. I made a quick video (poor quality) but thought it might help give more information in what I am seeing.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions - I’m sure I am doing something silly.

Do you have a BitSetter, and if not, any chance you enabled the BitSetter option in the Settings menu ?

Is there a chance that the design of your part has the zero set up in the corner of the part or center of the part called out, and you are making the zero of your physical part in a different location?

Thanks for replying Julien, I do not have the BitSetter option enabled in the settings menu.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but we’re looking at the back of the machine. Ere-go you have zeroed in the back right of the machine when looking at it conventionally. Machine is trying to go up and right, but is running out of travel?

Everything is off positional after that, as you have lost a whole pile of steps in the X and Y direction.

David - you nailed it - silly me. Thank you - that was exactly what was wrong.
