how do you zoom in and out with a touch pad…no mouse.

On my HP laptop it is almost impossible to zoom in and out. I use my left hand on the lower left of the track pad and use my right hand to try and zoom in/out. Usually I just give up and go get my wireless mouse if I have to make a design change on the fly while out in the shop.
