New Nomad 883 Pro owner checking in, wondering if there is an ETA for Carbide Connect?
I need to figure out a PC / Laptop to go with my Nomad, it would be great if I could just buy the Carbide Connect instead.

That’s a good question. The software is working well, it’s basically Carbide Motion without the GUI, but the hardware platform has been much more difficult than we thought. When we started, we thought we’d fight the software more than the platform but it turned out to be exactly the opposite.
I think you’re going to need a laptop/pc for the time being but the cheap Windows tablets on Amazon work really well for us.

I can attest to that, I’m using an RCA Cambio I bought at @Jorge’s suggestion, and it works perfectly. For $129 I couldn’t be happier.
