Hey all,
First prototype Telecaster body, 99% machine done, save the 1/4" roundover on the edges. Word to the wise, some operations are best left to other tools. The XL really shone on the pockets and sculpting for the softbody and arm cuts, but I would have been better off rough cutting the body profile on a bandsaw and finishing on the shapeoko. I also could of hogged out some of the cavities with a forstner bit and just done a finish pocket mill on the machine. Way too much time.
Fun lesson tho, I need to try on hardwood. I hope finish a other few models soon.
