How do you set up surface bit to run in carbide create

when i set up my surface bit to clean my waste board.it only moves a few mm

I made a void in the waste board for my nomad by making the work area 8x8 in carbide create and then I made an 6 inch square that I made a pocketing operation on in toolpaths tab. Should be about the same workflow but change for your machine and desired size.
