Issue when probing near the top of the Z axis travel

I noticed when doing the Z depth probe on my S3 on a thicker piece of stock, which was on top of an addon waste board, that when it retracted after probing it didn’t observe the limit switch and skipped some steps instead as it butted up against the top of the plate, immediately invalidating the probing. Known issue?

I’ve encountered the same issue FWIW. I cut thick stock often and have to raise the 611 as high as possible to try and avoid the problem.

I’ve quit using my SuckIt dust boot because the mount for it limits how much I can raise the router. It doesn’t work that well for narrow, deep cuts anyway.
